Speak Out! Crawford County MO Dems!

Well, it's official, the 2012 Democratic National Convention will be held in Charlotte, N.C. instead of St. Louis, MO.  It would have been great for Missouri and our Party in Missouri.  Too Bad!

I'm all for jobs for America -- I wish we could end these conflicts overseas and put all of those military folks to work rebuilding America's infrastructure, getting our transportation up to speed (as in "high speed") and working on alternative energy sources.  If we could have spent all the money on America's needs that we've spent outside our borders, we'd be in excellent shape right now.  My dad used to say that you can't help others if your own house isn't in order.  What do you think?

Hope all MO DEMS watched the State of the Union Address.  I liked what he had to say . . . what did you think?  I also watched Rep Ryan give the Repub rebuttal to the address.  He started out on a positive note and then began his accusations and finger-pointing.  Is that really necessary?  Speak out!

Last week on CBS's Sunday Morning show, comentator Ben Stein (staunch Repub) said that he thought for the first in decades, both parties may be able to support President Obama in 2012 because most Democrats already support him and he's taken a few steps toward the center of "the aisle" and Repubs have noticed it.  If he can just keep working toward the middle without compromising his/our values, he should be unbeatable in 2012.  What do you think?

Tell us about the issues you're interested in -- Share your comments with us.   Maybe the Health Care Bill needs to be looked at and SOME changes made instead of a total RE-DO! Hopefully they're figuring that out.  What do you think?
